 I
know
it
 seems
like

off
the
face
of
the
Earth
but I'm still here!

Since I moved to first grade, I am super busy

all

the

time!

I don't know if it is the lack of a full time para or if there is just so much to do in first grade, but I never have time for anything.

Well

except

for

my

two

beautiful, sweet, smart, fantastic, adorable, precious
Grand babies!

Aren't they just the cutest!

Even with all the craziness of first grade,
I wouldn't trade it for anything!
I
LOVE
IT!
(Sorry for shouting! But that is how much I love it!)

I also wanted to stop by and tell you about a new freebie I have in my TPT store.

It is a Bump It! Halloween Game.

If you don't know what Bump It! is, it is a super fun addition game for two people.

You can get you free copy by clicking here.

Hope you enjoy!

If you like it, be on the look out for a Themed Bump It! Mega Pack coming soon in my store.

100th day...hooray!

We just celebrated the 100th day of school.  It kinda snuck up on me this year, but we managed to get in some fun activities.  We wrote 100 words, wrote our numbers to 100, made a 100 crown, and a number 100 art project.

Look at these cute number 100 art projects and writing!  I love them!

Penguins, Prepositions, and Persuasion!

The month of January just flew by....whew!! Check out some of the great things we did!

I used the Penguin Unit from Melissa Machan over at First Grade Smiles.  You can check it out here!  The students loved all the activities!

Look at those cutie cute cute penguins.  I did not give them a pattern for them, nor did I tell them what size to make them.  Aren't they adorable?

Penguin writing.......I was so impressed with how much they learned from our penguin unit!

This great preposition anchor chart came from I {Heart} Teaching.  Check it out here!  My kids really liked it!

We also used this great Snowman Prepositional Phrases activity from Literacy Spark!  You can get it free here!  I forgot to take pictures of my kiddos actually doing the activity....duh!

We have also been working on persuasive letter writing.  We read these two books to get the kiddos thinking about what it means to persuade.

I used this anchor chart from KinderGals.  You can get it free here!

I will also be using this great mini unit from Sarah's First Grade Snippets. Check it out here!
